gander_mountain Protect your ears from harmful noise that may occur in the field using the Hunter's Ears. These electronic earmuffs will automatically compress harmful impulse and continuous noises to a safe hearing range below 85 dB without clipping or cutting. Two forward-facing microphones help enhance low-level sounds, and each ear cup has its own volume control for custom hearing control. The adjustable CoolMax headband will help keep you cool and comfortable all day, and the compact folding feature allows for easy storage. Two easy access battery compartments hold three AAA batteries for long lasting use (approx. 280 hrs). Batteries included.

        I love my Hunter's Ears Electronic Muffs. They are compact and adjusable to fit in a bag. Plus, they are comfortable, and the muffs protect my hearing which is essential when shooting. These muffs are must-haves for shooters.

          I've bought two pair of these and they are amoung the better hearing protection selections. They do use 6 AAA batteries, but battery life appears to be good.

          Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
