This is a great crossbow. I'm a first time crossbow hunter, but I've hunted for many years with a rifle, muzzleloader, and compound bow. This crossbow is lethal. It comes with everything you need except broadheads, which I just took off my arrows for my compound bow (Rage 3 blade). I bought this bow midseason and finally used it in January of this year. Killed an old doe on the last day of our season at 35 yards (the scope is dead on at 25 yards, the first dash down is 35, then 45, etc). Easy to use, easy to load, great balance (all the other crossbows I shot were front heavy). I would highly recommend this crossbow. The only con is that there is only one case that I found that will fit it because of its unusual shape.

What are the advantages of the reverse bar/string when compared to a regular crossbow?

                            1 answer

                            • A:

More compact design, which makes it easier to shoot in tighter spaces (blinds, treestands, etc.), and it makes it better balanced, as most crossbows have most of their weight on the front, whereas the reverse bar places most of the weight in the middle of the weapon.

It has string w handles w/ bracket that makes it easier to
                              draw back to load.

                            • A:

No. The cocking mechanisim is a rope and trolly. The rope is slung around the eye peice side of the scope mount and the trolly pulls the rope down both sides of the scope and hooks to the string. The ends of the rope have loops to get a hold on and while stepping in the end yoke of the bow you pull the string loops toward you until it is cocked. It is pretty simple but does require some strength to ready the string for firing.
