      I use the Hornady Superformance Ammunition, 308 Win., 165GR, SST for deer hunting I have taken four deer up to 460 yards this year with them and every deer fell in their tracks or didn't run more than 20 yards. I wouldn't use any other thing in my gun.

              I was concerned about accuracy with a hotter load but i had beter grouping with this than the previous 2 Name brands, I bought this for my daughter's 308 savage to give her a flatter trajectory without having to compensate(she's 15), was so impressed i bought the same for my Rem 700BDL 30-06 both calibers 165SST, I have no wories out to 300yds, and the effects on a 4x4 were impressive to say the least. I hope hornandy keeps this at a affordable price and they will have a customer for as long as i hunt

                I had heard all the hype and saw all the ads. about this new "Superformance" ammunition. I had to see for myself what was so great about it. After researching the science of what Hornady did to speed up the projectile I was convinced that not only should it be fast but accurate too. Three consecutive days at the rifle range proved just that! Five hole that could be covered by a quarter constitutively at 120 meters. I switched ammunition to another brand and it would have taken a dollar to cover all holes. I will not buy anything else for this rifle from the point forward.
