Comments about Hornady LEVERevolution Ammo, 44 MAG:
This is a great whitetail deer load in heavy cover. It will punch through and stay on the mark. I hunt with the 44mag in a lever action rifle, and never have a feed problem or miss fire. This round will hold 1-2" groups at 100 yards.

Comments about Hornady LEVERevolution Ammo, 44 MAG:
I wanted to use my Winchester 44 Mag Trapper Carbine for deer hunting. I didn't like the long range accuracy of the lead nosed rounds I had tried. I had read about this product but couldn't find it at my local gun store so thanks, Gander Mtn. I haven't shot a deer yet but I'm pleased with the accuracy out to 150 yards. Plus it's safe in my tubular magazine.
I think this is a great product.

Comments about Hornady LEVERevolution Ammo, 44 MAG:
I put this ammo through both my lever action & pistol. I have taken many deer and hogs with both. Flat out - this is the most accurate, best performing ammo I've used. If you hit your target it will fall - if you miss, you made a poor shoot.

I shoot these out of a Thompson Contender Super 14 and they shoot really good. I bought 3 boxes and plan to use the brass to reload the 265 gr LE bullets.

Comments about Hornady LEVERevolution Ammo, 44 MAG:
At 25 yards with a S&W model 629 classic 8-3/8", I was able to shot 3 rounds at a target and cover with a DIME!!! YES,it is that good!! Sight your gun in at 100 yards and you should be able to stay within a 10" point of aim zone out to a 150 yards.Very clean to shot too.Great for hunting and target shooting.I would buy this again and I hope that they will offer the bullet for reloading.
Pros

- Easy To Use
- One shot kills

Cons
- Sometimes jam in the auto
Best Uses
- Heavy brushcover

Comments about Hornady LEVERevolution Ammo, 44 MAG:
These rounds worked great in my 44 carbine. The 225 grain bullet performs great out to 150 yds. The only issue I found was that loading the tube was sometimes a pain as the bullets need to be lined up pretty much perfect to push up in the tube.

I had a similar problem with my Marlin 336 in .35 Rem. Marlin has a new style Mag follower that cured my loading/feeding problem. Call Marlin's help / order # and get a new follower for your rifle and you should be OK.Answered on 2/11/2010 by Al from Grand Rapids, MI

it is listed under hand gun and the 44 mag. works in a rifle also just the same as all 44 mag remington ammo doesAnswered on 11/9/2009 by Shadowwalker from Greenville S.C.A:
I belive so as long as the rifle can handle the pressure, but your best bet is to e-mail or call the manifacture of the rifle and ask them if it is posibile as to not void any warranty.Answered on 12/23/2009 by m629cl from Willowick,ohA:

A:
I know a couple of guys that use this in revolvers and like the way it performs. No trouble with clearance. I do not know about the desert eagle, but I have read some other reviews that say it will not fire out of the eagle.Answered on 12/12/2009 by Bloodhound from Randolph, Vermont
