Comments about Hornady InterLock BTSP Bullets - .270 cal, .277" dia., 140 gr.:

I have used these for 20 years in a .270 Winchester Model 700 Remington rifle. With a 3-9 scope and a good rest these will shoot sub MOA groups @ 100 yards from a standard sporter. I'm ok with that. I have recovered one bullet from the hind quarter of a whitetail that was shot in the chest! That bullet went through about 4 feet of deer(what a mess) and held together! That's the only bullet I have recovered from any deer I have shot with these, the rest were through and through shots. I reload mild loads, no hot rods. Recovered gravel pit bullets show these stay together very well. One of my favorite bullets and weights for the .270! I only wish they were a little bit cheaper so I could afford to shoot more of them.
