Comments about Hornady HP XTP® Bullets, .452, 300 grain:
I've used these bullets for several years, in combination with MMP black .50 cal sabots, 100 grains of Triple Seven pelletized powder (2 50-grain pellets) from my CVA Buckhorn rifle. I consistently achieve 1-inch 3-shot groups on the bench, with no fly-aways in six years of shooting. They preform very well on deer, passing through even when one or both shoulder blades are struck, and doing massive damage to the vitals. I strongly recommend!

Comments about Hornady HP XTP® Bullets, .452, 300 grain:
One great bullet for a muzzleloader. Add a black crush rib sabot and it is a real deer taker. Deer drop like they were hit with lighting. Have used it for many years and it has killed many deer. Most never took another step. I use 110 gr of 777 ffg. 1 inch groups from my Remington 700 ML. The few I have recovered were a perfect mushroom and weigh over 275 gr. Not much of anything better on the market.
