Comments about Hornady Flex Tip Projectile Blackpowder Ammunition, .50 Cal., 350 Gr., 15 Count:
In one range session I could not get good groups at all. I am not buying another pack of bullets to find a load that works, just sticking with lead conicals. They loaded easily in an NEF Sidekick but grouping was bad even at 50 yds. I was hopeful since they are more streamlined for less down range drop. I would reccomend giving a try, many have good luck with them. I made my own bullet pusher on a lathe to protect the point.

Comments about Hornady Flex Tip Projectile Blackpowder Ammunition, .50 Cal., 350 Gr., 15 Count:
These bullets were good for hunting and target practice. A little difficult to get started in my Optima but once started they seated well. I did have a problem with the polymer tip coming out of the bullet while loading. This do to the tip on the starter. I will have to drill out a bigger hole in the starter tip.

Comments about Hornady Flex Tip Projectile Blackpowder Ammunition, .50 Cal., 350 Gr., 15 Count:
I loaded them over top of 120 grains equivelant of Blackhorn 209 and the accuracy was dismal. 8" groups at 100 yards. They did seat nicely with a smooth uniform amount of friction, I really wanted them to shoot accurately. Also for some reason in my rifle they shot 6" low and 6" to the left of where any other bullets I have tested shoot.

Comments about Hornady Flex Tip Projectile Blackpowder Ammunition, .50 Cal., 350 Gr., 15 Count:
This is one great bullet, I never hunted with a muzzleloader until last elk season in Colorado. I shot this bullet and was consitant at placing one after another in a quarter size hole from 100yards. This gave me the confidence to shoot my 3x4 bull at 200yards. I used it in my new Optima,1 in 28 twist with 120 grains of triple seven, Winchester 209 mag.primer and boy did it perform. This bullet broke the front leg, ribs, and distroid his pumper then broke the opposite ribs and leg stopping in his hide. Bullet weight started at 350 and final weight was 268.7 grains. Cant ask for anything better than that.

Comments about Hornady Flex Tip Projectile Blackpowder Ammunition, .50 Cal., 350 Gr., 15 Count:
The bullets are great don't let the weight drag you down cause their 350gr. Although they say that it only takes 25lbs of force to load the bullet it's wrong because I had to force it in there most of the time. I shot 3in groups at 100yds with triple 7. Another thing is you won't have a problem finding blood and I only use this stuff during December when there's snow.
