Performance has been outstanding shooting them out of my Marlin 1895GS. Loaded to 2000 fps and sighted in for 3 inches high at 100 yds allows me to hold point of aim to almost 200 yds. I have killed several deer with these bullets. Two examples: One deer was heart shot at 140 yds. Complete bullet pass through destroying the heart, dropping him in his tracks. Another was lung shot at 70 yards, dropping her where she stood. Again... complete bullet pass through. Bullet clipped a rib on entrance, expanded, and created a huge wound channel through the heart and lung area. It exited on the far side. My brother reached the kill sight first and said the area looked like "mass carnage" due to the large amount of blood on the ground. I hunt in a clearing between two wet, boggy cedar swamps. This bullet and load combination puts them down immediately, and to stay, so there's no need to track'em through either swamp.
