            Comments about Hoppe's Hoppe's 17HMR Rifle Boresnake:

if you dont already have a bore snake for every caliber you own, what are you waiting for? its not a miracle worker but for a quick cleaning you cant beat them. i still like the good cleaning rod for a more thorough cleaning but this takes a fraction of the time for a quick touchup. this is very tight in my marlin 17hmr and feels like it might break but it doesnt. what you get with one pass of a bore snake is pretty awesome

                        Comments about Hoppe's Hoppe's 17HMR Rifle Boresnake:

The boresnake is an easy to use item that saves a bunch of time.
You simply wet the cord with cleaner, drop the weighted lead through the bore and pull it through, The fluid wets the bore, the bulit in brass scrubbers do their work, and the long cord cleans up. Generally one pass will do the job. You will need to clean the rest of the gun, but the bore is nicely done. Excellent for range cleaning. Then you can wash it up for repeated use. Saves a lot of messing with patches. It won't totally replace a thorough scrubbing/lubricating/polishing, but for a quick clean it is A#1
