I purchase this product by the case. . .time and time again.
Pro's: Excellent ignition. I use it in my flintlocks all the time, and it is very good on ignition and dependability. It is a dirty powder compared to the higher end T7, Select, and others, but the price is extremely nice. I can almost get a MOA with it. What more can one ask for the price?
Cons:It is a dirty powder compared to others. Other than that, who cares? You gotta clean your gun anyhow,

I would recommend this to any muzzleloading person. Price, consistency, reliability, and it ignites like it is supposed to, even in my flintlocks *without* any kind of "preload" or "base load".

I did some research when i first got into Muzzleloader hunting, including reading reviews and talking to other hunters. A fellow hunter told me about Hodgdon Pyrodex RS. It has worked flawlessly in my Traditions Deerslayer Inline with standard percussion caps, no misfires yet. I would recommend it to anyone as an economical powder!
