The Model A is among the first firearms ever produced by Hi-Standard, a company known for their superior target pistols. Like most .22 LR target pistols, the Model A is modeled after the German Luger design, which provides a more natural pointing angle and helps shooters of any proficiency level acheive accuracy. The Model A uses a round retracting rod protruding through the rear of the slide off center to the left side for easy takedown. Its blued steel barrel and frame are topped off by a blade front sight with an adjustable rear sight at the rear of the slide. This double-action pistol features a blade front sight with an adjustable rear sight, a 2-position safety, and a 10-round magazine. Its wood and bore are in good condition and its metal is in fair condition.
