I use the jerky seasoning for beef and deer and cannot keep it on hand with six grandkids.It is great that I can order it on the internet at no shipping costs when i dont have time to make the 70 mile trip to the store but visiting the store is a good break from therate race outthere

Gave great directions for ground or whole muscle jerky. I made 10 pounds of ground jerky but think there could be a touch more flavor to them. I think next time I will add a little more seasoning than they call for in the directions. Other than that a great product.

My 11 yr old shot his first buck this year and wanted more then anything to make jerky. I was dreading this to tell the truth, I've heard horror stories about making jerky. We bought this pack (Only diff flavors in our local GM store) and last night we rolled up the sleeves and went to it. Really easy once I figured out the diff between ground and whole meats. After the 4 hour fridge cure, my son was shooting jerky strips like a pro. The best part is they taste GREAT! We used a jerky gun (Cookie gun with lg flat tip would work too) but the directions explain how to press it between wax paper if you have no gun. Also, we made 2 pounds, bought only 1 drying rack. A 2nd or 3rd rack is in our future as it took till 2am putting 1 rack in at a time for 1 1/2 hours per rack.
