Product Description
hecklerkoch An enhanced version of the USP, the tactical is designed for users who need the features found on the Mark 23, but in a smaller and more affordable pistol. The USP tactical pistol approaches the precision found on the Mark 23 by adding an extended threaded barrel with rubber o-ring and drift adjustable target type sights to the USP. Additional features include: a match grade trigger with an adjustable trigger stop, a one-piece machined, nitro-carburized steel slide, the patented HK recoil reduction system, an oversized trigger guard for use with gloves, an ambidextrous magazine release lever, and an extractor that doubles as a loaded chamber indicator.

Comments about Heckler & Koch Heckler & Koch USP Tactical Handgun:

Great gun although pricey, but I'm a firm believer that you get what you pay for. You'll hear alot about Glock this and Glock that and I'm not knocking them because they are good firearms. However, HK has the largest pistol contract for law enforcement for a reason, the HK pistols earned a "Superior" technical rating after more than three million rounds of ammunition were fired through 690 handguns of 46 different models from five different companies during four months of testing. Most Glocks can't pass the "Glock" test and the majority of their reputation is solely derived from their marketing department. If you prefer to have an actual safety instead of just a trigger "half safety" then go Glock. If your a fan of hammerless ugly square metal go Glock. If you aren't willing to dish out an extra couple of hundred dollars on something that can save your life when needed and are ready to settle for average, go Glock. But, if you strive for excellence and are willing to pay for it, take the USP!
