    This is a nice pump. It is sturdy and fast. I use it for our canoe and kayak, mostly for rain water. The only reason I gave four stars instead of five is that the hose falls out easily, and it does not float. I fixed the problem by fastening three nylon ties. An easy fix. Now it cannot fall off and I can remove the ties if needed.

      I have a couple of giant pots with trees in them. I have them sitting in big / fairly deep "saucers". The problem is that with rain and whatever, they get full of water. Now, with the handy red bilge pump, I can pump the water out and into a bucket.
