    Comments about H&R 1871 Inc H&R 12 Ga Tracker II/24" Rifled Blue Barrel/Rifle Sights/Hardwood Stock:

If your looking for more of a challenge by switching to a single shot then this is your gun. VERY accurate when teamed with Hornady SST slugs. Its light weight and compact design make it perfect for when hiking rough terrain. Would definitely recommend adding a nice cushy recoil pad because she does kick like a mule, which can make sighting it in a little painfull. But its all worth it when your drawing down on whatever your hunting. I will take this gun into the woods any day over some of the guns that I have that cost 5 times as much, love it!

    Comments about H&R 1871 Inc H&R 12 Ga Tracker II/24" Rifled Blue Barrel/Rifle Sights/Hardwood Stock:

This gun will shoot a hole inside of a hole. The most accurate slug gun on the market. I would put the accuracy of this gun against any no matter the price or brand. It seems a little heavy but if your sitting a blind or stand, no problem. The weight helps tame the recoil. Put on a good shotgun scope and fill your tag.

    • Q:

How long a range of effective killing power does this shotgun have?

      • A:

I dropped a 8 point white tail at 165yds no problem this deer season. I use Hornady SST slugs and im pretty confident in their killing power and accuaracy up to 200 yds when teamed with this gun. I just use the open sights though, if you put a scope on it you may be able to stretch that even a little further.
