It also features an adjustable open rear sight, and a ramp front sight.

      This gun does not come with the scope base or hammer relief as stated. When you bring this up AFTER you have already made the purchase and they let you see the gun, they will say "firearm sales are final". Order the same gun with the items above, from Cabelas and save yourself $30.

      Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

        This gun is a perfect starter rifle for people just getting into shooting, and for those of us who've been in it for what seems like forever. It's a simple break action rifle - which in itself is a failsafe design. To top it off, this rifle has a nice heavy barrel on it which allows it to have pretty good accuracy for a .22lr. paired with matching ammunition, MOA shooting is expected at 75yrds. I've had great enjoyment out of this rifle, and I'm sure you will as well.

        Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
