Q:
is this gun good for deer shootingAsked on 4/18/2010 by Anonymous1 answer
A:
I have always used a single-shot smoothbore shotgun for deer hunting. I shoot the Foster-style rifled slugs, mainly the Remington Slugger or Federal Power Shoks. I also carry a couple of 00 3inch Buckshot loads if necessary. I like the feel of a traditional hunt and in every case that I have seen, 1 shot is what you get anyway. I have hunted for over 30 years in the woods of Arkansas and have 1 gun, a single-shot 12 gauge Remington SPR 100, which I recently bought. I want to increase my collection and buy this H&R because of their reliability and durabilityAnswered on 11/14/2010 by Donnie from Searcy, AR
