    This rifle is so easy to handle and carry into woods, i love it. I've been hunting 2 times this season, with two shots, took down 2 deer. Great knock down power, easy to load and handle in a small shoot house!!

      This Gander exclusive version of the H&R Handi-Rifle is unique with the stainless look of the receiver and camo/synthetic stock. It makes for a nice looking firearm. The quality of the "package" is so-so, however. As you may expect for the price point, the scope is pretty much a throwaway. Quite honestly, I waited until a year-end sale when this product was marked down considerably before purchasing. I then justified replacing the package scope and rings with something better. The H&R Handi-Rifle makes for a nice platform for additional barrels. I sent mine in to be fitted with a stainless with a .270 barrel and mounted a silver-tone scope on it. That combination, with the camo stock and stainless receiver, is very nice looking for the price.

      Oh, yeah, this thing shoots great too! The first game taken with mine was a Wisconsin black bear...no tracking whatsoever!
