Comments about H&R 1871 Inc H&R Handi-Rifle Centerfire Rifle:
I got my first H&R when I was a kid and it was a 410 shotgun, now as of NOV-2009 Marlin bought out H&R and now is making about 20 different barrels. i have a 30-06 with a 22-250 / 20ga / 50cal-blackpower all for one reciver. living in Texas now I have shot hogs 300 yrd no problem. Now the 243-cal that my daughter shoots with a 90-grain speer has shot deer at 150yrd with 1-shot kills they took no more than 3-steps , she has droped 5-deer and she is a happy camper. she is now working on buying a 30-06 so she cak go Elk / blackbeer hunting. we have 5 different H&R in our home, and we all love them..
