Action - Single Shot
Gauge - .44 Shot
Barrel Length - 26"
Weight - 4.2 Lbs.
The single-shot, break-action shotgun has been an American mainstay for well over a century and no gun-maker in history has mastered its sleek, simple design like Harrington & Richardson. One of H&R's earliest single-shots, the Model 1905 is designed to fire .44 shot shells, a precursor to modern .410 bore ammo that was the .44-40 Winchester centerfire cartridge. The 1905 is a smooth bore shotgun that incorporates a removable hinge pin and a hammer sear safety. This shotgun features an oil-finished walnut stock and a 26-inch blued barrel with a bead front sight. There is a tight stress crack on the left side of the shotgun's grip. Over all, its wood and metal are in good condition and its bore is in very good condition.
