Q:I am a 66 year old 180 lb.male ....
Will be ordering a size L...
Will be mostly used for swimming out to our mooring to get the boat ....
Younger ones will use for water skiing on an HO slalom ski !
While in the water, will the vest ride up raising my arms
and coming under my chin causing a problem, or are there
straps that go under my groin thus preventing the vest from
riding up .....The last vest that I used rode up to my head and I panicked
....It was not fun ! Never used that vest again !
Thank-you !Asked on 9/3/2012 by Ken from Lake Winnipesaukee = Ctr. Harbor, NH
A:vests are supposed to fit snuggly so that does not happen. If the vest does not fit snuggly then that will happen to any vest. Only infant vests have crotch strap for recreational boating uses. You would have to buy an offshore 15 mile vest to have that feature on an adult vest. Make sure the vest feels a little small on when it is dry, because when it gets wet it will expand some!!! Do not wear loose vestsAnswered on 12/14/2012 by Justin M. from Overton's
