This product is great for summer camping. Just fold or roll until the occation it is needed for. Great for those windy, wet camping days on Lake Superior.

I love the color, how it fits, not to snug but compliments your figure.
Comfortable to travel in, both car or flying. Is breathable so not to warm but also keeps wind and rain out. Love love love it.

While generally this jacket is proving to be functional, the zippers could use improvment. THey are difficult to get started.

Comments about Guide Series Women's TecH2O Packable Rain Jacket:
Love the color and the fit. Not stiff, bulky, or noisy when moving arms. I purchased this coat and rain pants for those long trail rides with my horse. You never know when a storm may pop up! It easily folds and fits into my small saddle bag. Have already used it and it is definitely waterproof. Love the adjustable fit of the hood and the zipper is also a plus. Don't let the plastic cheap look fool you - it is this type of zipper that truly makes the jacket waterproof, no water can leak into the teeth of this zipper! I love the adjustable velcro cuffs on the sleeve too. There isn't anything about the coat that I do not like. Oh, it is also ever so slightly longer in the back which is great when horseback riding!

Comments about Guide Series Women's TecH2O Packable Rain Jacket:
This was a gift from my husband who knew I needed a packable windbreaker for Montana (from Houston). The color suits me beautifully and isn't properly shown here online. It's not quite that pink or contrasty. I love the look of this jacket!!
My opinion of the pros are from what I've experienced so far (still in Houston). My husband got it for 40% off retail - I like that! It seems breathable - I wore it inside (78 degrees) and felt okay for the half hour. I think it is windproof - I didn't notice the normally strong breeze from my ceiling fans. Very few jackets are truly waterproof; I just hope this can hold up to light rain for short periods - it looks like it will be very good. The nylon seems to be of good quality. I love the zippers! They're the special new waterproof type that my favorite camera bag manufacturer (TENBA) uses. I think when I return from Montana, I think this jacket will be useful occasionally and during the entirety of a Houston winter (January and maybe February!).
I don't like that the makers seemed to forget this jacket was for a *woman* and just tucked in the waist a little more than they would on a man's jacket. I'm 5'6" and a little overweight so I usually get XL but well-cut clothing isn't tight across the chest like this is. I'm average in that department and it's snug. I don't see myself wearing this over anything bulkier than a cotton or thin knit shirt. I wouldn't recommend this model jacket to even slightly busty women.
Right now, I don't know how comfy this jacket will be in the long-haul, over hours and multiple days, or how well it might handle getting roughed up on a long hike. I'm personally looking forward to using it (in spite of the snugness across the chest - my columbia is like that too and it's probably due to *where* it's manufactured). As I type of the review, I keep looking at my new jacket and admiring the color. It's really beautiful!
