The turtleneck was true to size, however it was VERY thin. I was hoping that it would have been at least twice the thickness, but no. The turtleneck part of it was very flimsy and needs to be worn folded over. I prefer to wear my turtlenecks straight up. This is a great article of clothing IF you plan on wearing something over it. If you plan on wearing it solo, forget it - especially if you chose a light color (see through) or have extra weight because EVERYTHING will show. Depending on what you would wear this with or without would determine if I'd recommend this or not.
