Product Description
guide_series This versatile winter accessory can be worn alone as a pop-top mitten or liner glove, or can be paired together for premium cold-weather protection. The pop-top mitten is made from camo-printed fleece fabric, tricot-lined for next-to-skin softness, and packed with 40 grams of Thinsulate insulation for exceptional warmth. The fleece cuff helps further seal out chilly air, while the Rubber-tex palm patch offers enhanced grip on a variety of surfaces. Silent magnetic closures on the pop-top allows for quick, easy on and off. The liner glove is constructed of soft yet durable Xtreme Stretch polyester fabric with a solid-colored spandex panel at the palm for greater flexibility. TOUCH sensitive material on the index finger allows you to operate your touchscreen device without having to remove your gloves. Imported.

Comments about Guide Series Pop-Top Mitten With Pull-Out Liner Glove:

I wish there was protection from cold in the thumb. When I open up mittens to use my camera my fingers are well protected. What not protect is my thumb. If the thumb had protection like the rest of fingers these "Pop Top" Mittens would be great. No snow gets into the thumb and makes my hands cold. That is why I gave the mittens a 4 and not a five.

Comments about Guide Series Pop-Top Mitten With Pull-Out Liner Glove:

I was outside working bird dogs for four hours recently in single digit weather with a steady ten mph wind. We took turns planting birds, hooking up/unhooking dogs and some shooting. This was light to moderate activity; not as active as on an upland hunt, but not as sedentary as sitting on a deer watch. The bottom line is I wore these mittens for two hours straight and my hands were not warm enough for this temperature and activity level. When I was able to get back to my vehicle, I swapped these out for my 50 year old boiled wool mittens with finger opening in the right mitt for shooting. The old boiled wool mittens are warmer but are wearing out and I hoped the Guide Series Mittens would replace them. I like the design of the bite tabs for pulling the top of the mitten back and the magnets to hold the cover out of the way (when using a hand held compass, the magnets will interfere with it). If you are an active hunter or your hunting region does not get below 30 or so, you may really like these mittens. Unfortunately, I am going to continue to search for something warmer.
