    After 8 years with a pair of Alpha Burly Boots I though I'd give these a try due to my large calf's and I like the way they fit. I hunted about 15 days in October prior to 10 days in Illinois in late October and Early November when I noticed the soles peeling away from the boot. I returned and they promptly took care of my complaint and ordered a new pair. Customer service is awesome if you have your receipt. I returned the new pair and bought up another pair of LaCross Alpha Burly's. I'm sorry I did not have the patience to try them again, I need the certainty they'll last a few years not just a few more days.

    Service and delivery comments:

    Gander service and commitment to stand behind the boot was 5 Star. Regrettably I would not "try" another pair. That being said my Guide Gear rod's, reels, clothing purchases have always been above average.

        Bought a pair of these and they had a hole in them. Took them back and traded them for another pair and withing two weeks there was a tear in the front, on the shin. Only wore them hunting twice in and out of the woods. Didn't go through any thick brush or anything just wore a hole in them from walking. Weren't very warm either.
