    We are half way through our third summer with this tube. We purchased it with our boat. Since we were first time boat owners, we didn't know what to expect from the Gladiator line of products. We are now loyal customers. We are out almost every weekend during the summer and this tube has held up really well. We travel about an hour to the lake with the tube inflated and strapped to the back cleats on the boat and it's still in great shape.

            My son-in-law wanted this for Christmas for his 7 yr. old son as well as for him and my daughter to tow behind their ski boat. They had borrowed one to try last summer and all loved it and had a great time with it. We live in Maine so it hasn't been used yet! The tow rope that came with the tube was a great add-on and I also purchased the mesh bag to go with it for safe and easy storage. We all anticipate many hours of fun with this highly rated tube!

                  Love this tube. Great with individual riders or double riders. The only issue we had with it is if you slow down too fast the tube can point down into the water and go under water causing the person on the tube to also go under water unexpectadly.

                    Looking at 2 rider Gladiator Triumph # 16446. We are a tall, big family and I am concerned about 2 adult sized individuals fitting on this tube. One comment was that it was too small for an adult and child to ride. Any opinions on this question?

                      A:

                      If you are tall it should be fine, but if you are bigger than an average adult (160lbs) then you may want to try the 3 person tube instead. I ride this with other adults and have had no problem with myself (150) and a 200 lb person.

                      I believe it's called a "Boston Valve"; the opening is about 1"; I used a shop vac to inflate it, and it took just over a minute; once full, one just screws on the cap similar to a soda cap; to deflate, one needs to remove the cap and put a screwdriver through the opening to let the air escape. I tried initially to inflate with a compressor, but the air flow was insufficient (slow); the shop vac (high volume of air with moderate pressure) worked excellent.
                      We love it! Hope this helps!
