Comments about Gladiator Deluxe Trainer Waterskis:

We bought these trainers for our 3 granddaughters to learn to ski this summer on vacation. Our 6 year old got up on the first try and in 2 days was skiing 1 1/2 miles each trip up. She was ecstatic and was the youngest we ever taught. She beat her mom and her cousin so that made her even more pleased with herself. The skiis are heavy for a small child to manage in the water by themselves but that was the only criticism we had.

Comments about Gladiator Deluxe Trainer Waterskis:

When I used this to teach a child to ski it was great to get him out of the water but I think the apparatus of handle and ski connector was difficult for the child to stay standing. We tried adjusting the length of handle but it was quite difficult. There were no instructions about how the handle and ski configuration should work which frustrated the adults and in turn frustrated the child. It was nice that the adults could let go of the child before he had a hard crash so it was not a scary experience. We ended up just removing the ski-rope-handle configuration and just told the kid he would have to get up with out it, so he did.

        A:

Yes, the stabilizer bar is attached with thumbscrews and can be easily removed. You can replace the thumbscrews in the ski once the bar has been removed.
