                          This book gives an excellent overview of handguns and concealed carry, from the basics of handguns to the emotional and legal ramifications of using force in a defensive encounter. I am a Hunter Safety and NRA Pistol instructor with a CCW permit. I log all of my continuing education, and this book is one of the study texts that I list. It's good enough to take to court, in my view.

                              Here is a great introduction to the practical and legal ramifications of self-defense handgun ownership. With all the excitement about civilian concealed carry, the no-nonsense approach of this book is a must. Every self-defense gun owner should read this book and keep it for reference. Highly recommended. Clear and practical. A good antidote to much of the macho hysteria about carrying a sidearm.
