Just ordered this jacket to bring with me to Texas later this month. I have tried a few different fleece jackets from other stores and absolutely love this jacket. I normally wear a medium to large shirt size and this fit perfectly with room to spare. That includes some layering underneath. The jacket does not look 100% like the one in picture as another person wrote. It is a bit darker in color and does not have the tan strips on sides. The inside of collar is more of an olive green than tan. It is also not as fitted as the picture represents. Another thing I noticed was that the description indicates the Gander goose image is on back-it is not, which is better! The drawstrings allow a more custom fit as well.

I bought this for my wife. She really likes it. She likes how it looks and feels. The only thing different than advertised, is the solid tan colored sections pictured on the site, are not on the actual product we received. Those tan sections are camo pattern like the rest of the fleece. It isnt quite as form fitting as the one pictured, it is a slightly more squared shape than what we expected from the picture but still shaped for a woman. She says it is comfortable and light, yet effective in the pacific northwest weather we have here. We have not tested it in rain, but it is not depicted as being a waterproof layer anyways.

Fits over hunting overalls, and is very comfortable. Looks fashionable and sharp! Wear warmer clothing underneath to stay warm outside.

I am an avid hunter and in the hunting industy professionally. I have tried MANY women's hunting and outdoor garments. My favorites are ones that Gander makes, including this camo zip jacket.
The jacket is not billed for layering a lot or for severe outdoor conditions. However, like the Columbia brand fleece jackets out there, it's not meant for severe conditions. The product description notes that is is fitted and feminine, which it is. You could fit a Smartwool zip T or cotton T under it just fine. If you want to fit more under it, order up a size. I am into my 3rd season using my Gander camo fleece. I've worn it for layering when hunting, and outlayer when distance running, and with skinny jeans and Ugg boots for just knocking around. It has stood up to countless washings and still looks great. Many great features.

For what I paid and after reading the description I thought this was going to be a pretty heavy fleece. I got it and it's not very warm. I'll still need layers under it for fall days but it's a fitted fleece which makes that impossible.
