Bass love this bait. With the offset hook slot they seem to hold on longer and get a better hookset. Works great in the grass and moss. Great selection with fast delivery.

Comments about Gander Mountain® Trick Stick Soft Bait, 5", 15-Pack:
I am 4 fishing seasons into using the great worm. Yes, I still from time to time use Berkeley, Yum, Strike King, Culprit, & X-Factor. But if I have to break it down to cost, effectiveness, wear & tear. My biggest and best complement of all has to go to, The Gander Mountain 5 inch Trick Stick. By far it is a hands down winner. I use the Org Craw(camo) and Black & Blue. Outstanding product. These worms take a beating. I use them Texas and Wacky. This worm is the go to go to bait.....

Comments about Gander Mountain® Trick Stick Soft Bait, 5", 15-Pack:
These worms are the only worms i use. I have tried just about eveything out there and i keep coming back to these. I have a tackle bag full of different worms from other companys. These lures have the perfect action and the fish just wont let go. The hook pocket is perfect for setting hooks. You dont have to skin hook them to be weedless when you texas rig. Plus it comes with a free hookAnd the material is so strong you dont have to keep adjusting the hook after you get a snag. Witch gives you more time fishing and less time adjusting to make your lure look good. A must have for me.

Comments about Gander Mountain® Trick Stick Soft Bait, 5", 15-Pack:
This worm is so easy to use. Just cast and let it fall. Watch line for movement and soon as your line straitens out, set the hook. Easy to use, just raise and lower your rod tip. Fish attack on the down fall. some even as soon as it hits the water. I have caught big bass on this lure when nothing else worked. A great go to lure for any situation.

Comments about Gander Mountain® Trick Stick Soft Bait, 5", 15-Pack:
Wacky rigged - The Black Grape and Bloodline are unique colors that I haven't seen with other brands. Both colors work well. Bass seem to hold on longer. Don't tear as easy and last a lot longer then other brands. Good value. A little stiffer then some other brands. Good sink rate(fairly fast). THEY CATCH BASS!

Q:
Whats the best way to hook this bait and what hooks are to be usedAsked on 6/15/2009 by Anonymous4 answers
A:
If you buy the product, look on the back. Caught the biggest bass using an offset worm hook Texas rig style.Answered on 6/21/2009 by Land Bound from FloridaVERIFIED BUYER
A:
I have had great luck using a 3/0 or 4/0 wide gap worm hook no weight added texas rigging hook through the center of the nose of the worm 1/4 inch turn and bury hook back up through the worm keeping sraight barely penetrating the top of the worm. You can also use a 1 or 2 finesse hook straight through the center of the worm wacky style. Both methods work very well.Answered on 7/29/2009 by Phissunphool from Eaton, Co.A:
I use an offset round bend hook. Like what you would use for texas rigging. And I stick the hook in the front of the lure about half an inch so that the eyelit and knot will be consealed by the worm. I then line the hook up with the bait before I stick the barb threw the meat of the bait. Just so i can judge the best spot to go in and come out. After I do the dry fit I go ahead and finsh the deal, and the bait is ready to go. When im done the only part of the hook you see is from the offset to the first bend of the hook. Its easy to make this bait weedless just by piching the work and just barely covering the hook point. Which makes it great for throwing in any kind cover. I hope this has helped you out and good luck fishing.Answered on 5/31/2012 by eyesack from Lower, DelawareA:
