This is a well-built, comfortable cot. It does not squeak or make noise while shifting or rolling on the cot. However, the center leg bent while sitting on the edge using a computer. Could use more reinforcement on that leg. The directions say not to sit on any part of the frame. I should have read it sooner. Apparently there is no way to replace it.

It was a useful product until I sat on the edge to take my boots off. It did not squeak when the leg broke, but it did sway. Once I sat on the edge, the leg broke in 1/2. At that point it became a recyclable and landfill fodder. Wasted $XX.00. Tried to take it back to Gander Mountain, but they would not help me at all.

after one or two uses with this cot it will break when you put it togethe at the top and bottom of it. the little nobes will snap and is dont tight anymore and you will have to go buy a new one. Do not buy this cot if you want to use it more thab once.

Comments about Gander Mountain® Tracker Cot:
I'm only 5 foot 1 inches tall, but I'm heavy, so I wanted a more heavy-duty cot. This cot is super-super easy to set up, I had it done in less than 2 minutes the very first time. It's comfy and seems to be really sturdy. I will avoid sitting on the edge, as other reviewers have noted they had problems with the legs breaking, but this shouldn't be an issue. The cot goes back into the carry bag with room to spare, amazing, nothing EVER goes back into the carry bag with room to spare, does it? I'm super happy with this gift, my husband scores big on this present!

Comments about Gander Mountain® Tracker Cot:
This cot is big (possibly a little too big) and very comfortable. It's easy to set up and take down. It's also very sturdy and from the couple times I've used it appears very durable. It's heavy, but I've been using it for car camping in campgrounds so I've only needed to carry it about 10 yards from the car to the tent and back so the weight doesn't bother me for my purposes.
TheCot comes in a very nice carry bag making it easy to pack up and transport without worrying about the end poles falling out or the material getting caught somwewhere.
Overall a great car camping cot.

Comments about Gander Mountain® Tracker Cot:
i recently used this cot on a five night camping trip. it was very it comfortable and at 6,3 this cot fits me great. some people have said they had problems with the middle legs bending and i can see how the legs seem flimsy but i did not have a problem with them. my favorite feature of this cot is how compact it becomes when folded down into its storage bag. this is a very good cot for us larger guys

It has a convenient carry bag for transporting the cot. I don't know if I would go a long distance with it, but it has a nice strap that fits over the shoulder.Answered on 8/3/2009 by QuietWater from Independence, MO

How easy is this to set up? I am a 49 year old full figured gal that is tired of a cold air mattress.Asked on 7/11/2009 by DC from Upstate, NY2 answers
A:
Just so you know you will still get cold using a cot unless you use a pad/blanket under your sleeping bag.
This is a nice cot that I find easy to put up or take down. I also am a full figured gal that gave up the ground.Answered on 5/16/2013 by Squirrel from Madison, WIA:
You have to have strong hands to fit in the end bars. Other than that its easy.Answered on 9/23/2009 by Alan from Lake Worth, Fl.
