    We were looking for a compact comfortable chair suitable for a big guy and we hit pay dirt. We tried several from well known camping accessory places that just didn't work. Gander Mountain's Quad Chair fit the bill and it rocks (truly it does). This would not be recommended for hikers because they don't fold up small enough to pack back with but lie flat enough for packing.

          I knew right away when I got it that it was a fairly well made chair. Felt solid. Set up in seconds. Very comfortable. I'm a pretty big guy and this chair is nice and wide. I had read other reveiws about how the arms of the chair strain when in use. I did, indeed, feel that strain but I don't think it will be a problem. It's a little heavier than I would like (wouldn't want to carry it a long distance) All in all, a good addition to my camp furniture.

            I purchased two as a gift after sitting in a display at the store. These chairs are so comfortable! The only con is that there is a small latch to keep the chair from folding while using it. The latch is difficult for arthritic fingers. Otherwise, well worth the money. I wish they came in more colors.
