gander_mountain Constructed from brushed cotton with a nylon shell, this premium fly-fishing vest features 28 pockets to hold everything from tippets to fly boxes, and all the other gear you need for a full day of stream fishing. Neoprene collar and shoulders help keep you dry and comfortable. Front pliers-pocket, removable patch, and D-ring secure nets. Convertible rolled-down back vest turns into a cool, breathable mesh back. Extra reels can be stowed in the two zip-close reel pockets on the back. Zip front closure and inside webbing clasp keep vest closed securely. Imported.

    This vest is a sure-fire winner, especially for the price! I got it today and took it right out to the lake. I put all of my stuff in the pockets and still have pockets left over! I don't know what to do with the extra pockets but I'm sure I'll figure something out! In answer to a question asked about whether there are any rod holders on the vest the answer is yes! Two of them! Way to go Gander Mountain!

    Well organized, no fumble pockets. Two built-in retractors just like the way more expensive vests. Pockets are more roomy and covers are hooded for protection. Easy roll down back exposes mesh when the day warms up. If you stream fish, and spend a few hours on the water, this vest lets you carry all your gear, lunch and snacks comfortably. The front pockets are great for holding leader and tippet. The two velcro'd holders keep the rod out of the way and out of trouble. I can't think of one way to improve this vest - it's just great - and the price is unbelievable. Gander Mountain has a winner in this.

      I usually wear waders and this vest to walk up and down rivers in Ohio. This vest allows me to carry all of my tackle and other necessities for a 4 hour trip up and down the river. The back zips down for days where it is hot out and on cooler day you can zip it back up and have extra storage. I did a lot of research before buying this vest and I believe that this vest is as good or better than other more expensive brands.
