    I have been making jerky for almost 20 years. I have used the Guide Series jerky shooter for almost a year now and it is the best! Easy clean up, ease of use, simple to load with a kitchen tablespoon! No effort to squeeze the trigger and the seasoned meat dispenses smoothly. My hand doesn't get tired like those cheap "[...]" models!

      Nice idea but poor design. The problem is the threads on the nozzle end are plastic and not cut deep enough to withstand the force of the jerky being pushed against the nozzle end by the piston. The lock ring holding the nozzle attachment continually popped off from the threads making this tool highly impractical and quite inconvenient. Back to the drawing board Gander with a shooter with adequate thread design.

                Excellent everytime!!!! I would like to see a larger barrel attachment for making summer sausage. 3" to 6" lengths.

                                if you're making jerky from ground meat, you need this product. it is absolutely essential. i have tried every method for making neat strips of jerky, and this is the ONLY way to do it quickly and without a ton of mess and cursing. save yourself time and frustration and use this.

                                    It was horrible the nozzle lid tip thing fell off agian and agian at first it didn't but after a few weeks of useing it i guees it broke and I WOULD NEVER RECOMEND THIS TO ANYONE.
