We could not be more pleased with our 2 purchased cots. These are not only good for camping, but also for quick conversion of any room (within the home) into a sleeping area. If tired of the air mattress route, this is an ideal cot replacement. The head can be raised, if sleeping with an elevated head-of-bed is needed or preferred. The cots have fairly thick padding, which enhances comfort. For camping, just unfold, lay out sleeping bag (& pillow, if also desired), & you are good to go. Take down is much quicker that waiting for entire deflation of an air mattress. Although the cots are wide & may seem slightly weighty for some, the metal bar across the bottom of the frame allow for very easy transport by one person. Just grab the cot by the bar (position cot under your arm), & take off. When you try it out for the first time, you will sigh with comfort!

This product was not at all as described. Set it up, my son laid on it and the legs collapsed. Needed a cot for Boy Scout summer camp with clearance to put footlocker underneath. This cot was less than 12" from ground.
Was easy to construct and seemed really well made.
Returned to store quickly.

Best cot I have ever owned. We bought two for our family camping trips. Both myself and my 4 year old fit comfortably on the cot for a great night's sleep. I have used camping pads and inflatable mattresses for years, I will never go back after buying these. The only con is that they are fairly heavy, so more suited to car camping and plases with a very short walk in.

Planning an out of state hunting trip and needed some cots to use. I was in the St. Augustine Florida Gander Mountain and saw these cots. I was impressed with the design and comfort. I was then amazed to see that they were on sale. I went on line that night and purchased two of them and had them shipped to my hunting destination. Was almost like winning the lottery!

      Pros

      • Plenty of Room
      • Supportive

      Cons

      • Bulky To Store

      Best Uses

      • Camping
      • Guest Bed

I use this to sleep on when camping because I needed more comfort for my bad back. It is supportive yet comfy, and I sleep great on it. As a side note, when It first arrived, I set it up In my living room to try it but couldn't keep my family off it...reading books in it with the head end propped up, and even taking afternoon naps on it. The only negative is its slight bulkiness when stored, but only potentially troublesome if you plan to pack it in your vehicle with all the camping gear like me. It is totally worth it, IMO.
