Comments about Gander Mountain Men's Canvas Convertible Pant:
Great product--just what I wanted for a bus tour in Canada where the mornings are cool and the afternoons can become quite warm. Great fit and they look good too, with or without the bottom pants legs attached. I assumed that the color (raven) would be black but was pleasantly surprised to find that it is a deep gray. One thing: these pants are rather "heavy"--not uncomfortable, just thick material.

Comments about Gander Mountain Men's Canvas Convertible Pant:
This is the second pair of these convertable pants which I bought from Gander Mountain. They are perfect for camping: as shorts you stay cool, but when hiking it's great to zip on the pant legs to protect from poison ivy. I think they are great!

Comments about Gander Mountain Men's Canvas Convertible Pant:
Had a training class that lasted a week. The last day(travel day) we could dress casual, but no shorts.. I removed the lower legs on the way to the airport, so I could fly in comfort.. Great Design!!

Comments about Gander Mountain Men's Canvas Convertible Pant:
Exaclty what I wanted. Most convertible pants are thin, quick dry materian, and I purchased these in the hopes of getting a durable field pant that was convertible...and that's exactly what I got!

Comments about Gander Mountain Men's Canvas Convertible Pant:
I ordered these pants to wear on a trip to Alaska and later for fishing trip to Canada, the versitility of zip off legs appealed to me. I returned these pants, they are not very stylish, ordered my normal size in pants but these were to small in waist and they are a slinder fit pants. At my age I need relaxed fit. Have to look elsewhere for what I need.

Comments about Gander Mountain Men's Canvas Convertible Pant:
I've been looking long and hard for some durable, comfortable cotton zipoff pants, to have something more functional than nylon ones for casual wear. These pants in the 3-4 weeks I've had them are great! They seem very durable, hold their color after multiple washes and are very comfortable. I like the color selection that offers a dark gray and a darker green than other retailers offer.
I found the tan to be a little bit too much towards the yellow side, but not so bad that they are ugly. The leg zips are great for easy on-off over shoes.
These pants definitely have a slimmer fit in the leg, which would be good if one's inclined to use them for hiking, but some others might find the fit a little too snug for general wear.

Q:
Do these pants run true to size compared to other pants? Many of these I have seen apparently run smaller than stated sizes when compared to other style of pants.Asked on 5/19/2012 by Anonymous0 answers
