My husband works as an Automotive Technician so he is standing on hard cold concrete floor for 8 hours a day. Then he goes to his second job and does the same thing for another 4-5 hours a day. We live in Northern NY where it is cold most of the time. I did a lot of research and choose these socks. I purchased two pairs. After washing them every other day so that my husband could keep wearing them, I went and purchased 4 more pair. He wears them with a wicking sock. He says that he loves how they feel. He will come home and take off his work boot but leave his socks on like they are his slippers. He says the come just above the boot which works great for him. Thank you for such a great product!

Comments about Gander Mountain Heavyweight Merino Wool Hunting Socks:
I have Reynaud's Syndrome....which is a medical circulation problem (my aunt was first diagnosed with the Syndrome), but various women in our family have the same thing), and your heavy wool hunting socks help keep my cold feet warm in cold months (even herein Southern California - which is usually chillier, and downright cold [especially for those of us who live on the coast and get colder westerly breezes daily] - from November through February).
