Comments about Gander Mountain® Blazer Solo Backpacking Tent:
Bought this tent for an expedition in Montana, was skeptical at first but performed well beyond expectations. It is light weight and packs down small, making it ideal for packing down for backpacking, as well as keeping the size and weight down on my checked bag for the plane. Camped for five days in temperatures from lower 30's into the 80's, with at time wind gusts over 30mph; also went through some light rain, and a heavy thunderstorm….. And with my surprise I stayed dry. Currently use the tent to backpack and camp around Florida. Have had it over a year now and still performs well. It is small enough to set up on the deck of my boat.
The only cons would have to be it's a little tight at times, and requires to be streaked to stand. But can be done with only 4 steaks, about half the total… unless it is very windy.

Comments about Gander Mountain® Blazer Solo Backpacking Tent:
Very small. Low quality. Seams have loose strings falling off everywhere. Plastic buckles on corners and rain fly broke immediately. The worst part is I had to disassemble the poles and cut them shorter just to fit. Setting up this tent was nearly impossible without cutting the poles.

Comments about Gander Mountain® Blazer Solo Backpacking Tent:
Very nice tent. Almost a two person tent with the side doors on both sides. i have 3 tents now and backpack north manitou island (www.northmanitouisland.us) several times each year. this is good 1 person tent - and it looks cool too.

Comments about Gander Mountain® Blazer Solo Backpacking Tent:
I have some claustrophobia and was worried about how small this tent appeared. It is awesome! Has 2 small pockets which is sufficient if you are using this for backpacking. Goes up well. It does not form a lot of condensation which is a huge plus for me. I do not like wet tent walls.
