Comments about Gander Mountain Advantage Casting Rod, 6, Medium:

I bought this as a compact rig 4 or 5 years ago. I had an Abu Garcia Revo on it and absolutely loved the pair.I have caught everything from 2" Bass (yup!) to 30lb pike. I loved it for top waters in general, though light lures like scum frogs don't cast very well from it. It finally met its demise last summer in a slammed door. Even with a foot missing, it's a nice little jerk rod.

I just picked up a brand new one of these rods and see the same quality as the first one. Hopefully this one never meets a door :)
