            I got these for christmas from my son. We are an outdoor family but mainly I am in the barn with the horses every day. I usually am wearing barn clogs or short waterproof boots. I prefer the clogs because they are quick on and off BUT when we have more than 2" of snow, like now my feet used to get wet. Not any more unless I am wading through feet of the stuff. These socks keep my feet dry because the snow does not melt quickly on my feet and I can quickly knock it off if a little gets on there. Mainly my got them for me because I always complain about going through tones of socks since I haev rough heels and am on my feet in rough conditions alot. These are holding up well. Infact they are so warm and cozy that out of the 3 pair I got in the pack 2 pair quickly dissapeared on other people's feet !Just LOVE these.
            Unlike ski socks they are not too long which is important for me because I am only 5.1"
            I have been doing outdoor sports for 40 years. from horses to sking, sailing , hunting and mountaineering.

              Bought two packs of these on sale after Thanksgiving for upcoming cold weather travel. Nice socks, seem high quality. Only complaint is that these were only stocked in size medium and I wear large. They still fit, feel, and function fine, but the heel stitching doesn't sit in quite the right spot. Still, can't beat the price, made in USA, and you can feel the quality.
