                      I am looking for a hook that will do as little harm to the rainbow trout in my stocked pond. I need a hook that will deteriorate quickly should I need to leave it in the fish. I understand the circle hook should greatly reduce swallowing. How about deterioration should it have to be left in place? I would prefer barbless.

                        these are made not to rust and always work great. the hook is very hard for the fish to throw but is also hard to get out. very hard if it is deep. i would suggest barbless highly to not damage fish not this hook
