Great for every day wear or cold and windy! I used it for black friday shopping and it worked wonders! It was below zero and very windy and i was not cold at all and could not feel the wind with the jacket on

I liked this jacket because it didn't have the skinny arms. I am 4'10" and most woman's jackets don't fit me well because of the shoulders and arms.

I was looking for a waterproof winter coat to replace one that was now too big for me after having lost weight. I wanted good pockets, including a zippered internal pocket, and I wanted a coat that was warm down to single digits but not bulky. GoreTex was a plus. I found exactly what I was looking for in this well-fitting, comfortable coat, including the GoreTex. It has a snow skirt, an internal zippered pocket with a passthrough for headphones, large pockets in front for keys and fleece-lined hand pockets in the sides. The zipper also releases from the bottom, which makes it more comfortable to wear when driving (coat won't ride up around your neck). I've taken it out in single-digit weather and been perfectly warm without the bulk of my old coat. I purchased this in store at 50% off retail, so I got it at an even better price than is advertised online. So far I am not seeing anything I can complain about. A great value.

I purchased this as a gift for my wife. She loves it, wears it snowshoeing and also to church. She loves the color and fit. Normally she is veery fussy about her clothes and returns much of what I purchase for her, but not this time.

I have plenty of fleece outerwear and rain wear. And am constantly seeing that the fleece garmets work great with a shell. But where are the great shells? You've found it. Real gore-tex, seam sealed. Everything is functional, but not so technical looking that you can't wear it to work (casual) or on errands. A light amount of insulation, even in the hood. Fine as a rainy day or a cool day (say 35 deg) shell, but works great over fleece also on a frigid/windy day. Even tho large enough in body and sleeves to have a fleece underneath, doesn't billow our or look bulky anywhere. Not the most engaging colors, but the fit and functionality made me overlook. My only complaint is that I bought it in the store after ordering and sending back from other catalogs and trying every jacket on in the store....so I paid full retail. [$] instead of [$]. [*]!! Learn from my mistake.
