Comments about GSX Tournament Spinning Rod Split Grip, TGSXS66-A-M1-SP:

I Picked up this rod last weekend. I've used it four times and have landed five or six bass in the 2lb-4lb range. I pulled a coupled out of some pretty thick weeds. I like the rod so far. It is a bit stiffer then my other medium rods, but it is nice and sensitive. Pretty light weight as well. The reel sits a bit higher on the rod which adds to better balance, but it does make the butt end a bit long. It took me a day to get used to where it would hit me on my forearm. I paired it up with a pflueger president which is a rock solid reel and the blues match perfectly if you are in to the sort of thing.
