    I bought to replace a set of high end pliers before a fishing trip. Boy was i surprised fast delivery great set of pliers for the money. After lots of use still going strong. The holder can be seperated from lanard and pliers for use in my waders. Gander please make a 5.5" inch set would be great for fishing with shorts could stick in pocket with lanyard atached. Over all the best bang for you buck in a set of fishing pliers with line cutter lanyard and belt holder.

    I am a professional offshore fisherman. I am no better than the tools I use. I received the GSX titanium as a gift from a charter client. I was honored. First time I tried to cut a piece of low diamenter piano wire the side cutter edge broke. Not to mention that the design of the side cutter will not allow one to place a wire within the "V" of the apex of the cutting blades. (which is the most natural place to place the wire!)

    Further more....the torque style screws used to hold the cutters in place are unacceptable! No one uses this ridiculous torque head screw! What happened to the phillips head?

    Think people...think....maybe even try using the product itself before sending it out to market.

        Extremely sharp, durable amazing quality. they last long but the holster is so bad that on my first outing pliers fell from my belt, On the flor the clasp on the holster is not secured to anything I will reconstruct the holster.

            These pliers are well worth the price. So far no rust and I have used them a lot in salt water. Great for removing hooks, cutting line, etc. I just can't see paying a couple hundred dollars or more for other brands when pliers like this are available.
