      look good, but heads wont go on

      ordered a box of surface feeders and a box of active. They arrived via fedex today. shipping was fast and the decoys looked awesome out of the box. the first head popped right on but none of the others were even close. the directions say the head reviever and the head post should be free of paint, which was untrue for all the decoys that gave me problems. Also, the hole where the head post goes didn't seem perfectly round. i tried soapy water, heat from a hair dryer, and more brute force with no success. Gander has another box on the way. will post again

      Some best looking decoys there is but paint starts to chip after a few uses if not put in slotted bags, tend to wana dive if u are hunting current, drake heads are almost impossible to put on, and i bought 18 decoys to try out and 3 of have split where the keel meets the body.

          Before I made the purchase, I spent some time reading reviews about the ghg decoys and noticed a lot of comments about paint chipping, trouble popping heads in, crooked keels etc. The first box of pro grade mallards I had delivered were perfect in every way. The craftsmanship was top notch. They were packed nicely and the paint was flawless to this point.. The comments about the heads being hard to put on is partly true, but with a little lube, I just wiped windex around the base of head, they slipped in with minimal effort. I was pleased with the product so I ordered another 1/2 doz pro grade mallards.[...]All in all, I will purchase from them again. Their decoys look top notch [...]

            These decoys are the best decoys ive ever bought. I have a dozen and they are amazingly realistic and bring in the wariest ducks. the paint job is excellent and they are very lightweight for an oversized decoy. I dont know why people are complaining about how the heads are hard to get on. All you need to do is twist them and they pop right on. I want to get some more for this fall.
