I really like the Fusion bullet design, and the extra-flat trajectory from the lighter 130gr is an advantage. Though 130gr is plenty for whitetail, I generally favor heavier-for-caliber bullets.

My Marlin XL7 prefers the 150gr - 2-3" groups with the 130gr vs 1-1.5" groups with the 150gr.

Both group well enough for hunting, but I like as much bench accuracy as possible before getting to the less-than-perfect conditions of hunting.

Try both and see which your rifle prefers. Use the extras for target practice. Can't go wrong with either.

I got a box of these the first year they came out and have had great results with them so far. I've killed over a dozen whitetails and several mule deer in 3 different states so far. Most have been one shot kills. I'll be stocking up with 3 more boxes for this fall. Best ammo for the price. Much better than Core Locks.

Well I just received the 130gr Fusion for my model 700BDL in 270 win. I use Burris optics so the rifle was dead on with the old ammo.With this Fusion, from a rest I shot a 3/4" group @ 100yds! To me that says it all for deadly accuracy! Before, my best grouping was a little over 1.5". Now I can't wait 'till August 15th to confirm all the great reviews I've heard and read about this ammo!
