Comments about Frabill FXE Snosuit Gauntlet Glove:

I recently used these snowmobiling in -24 ambient temps in Minnesota. I really wanted to see how these gloves worked. I was surprised at how well they performed in the brutal temps. Of course I used my sled's hand warmers but even so, these gloves protected the front of my hands well. I'd rated them 4 out of 5 stars. The main reason is they are not rugged for every day use, only snowmobiling or sitting on the ice, fishing. The palms are made of goat skin. Soft but not rugged--easily punctured. I almost put a couple of holes in mine just digging myself out after getting my sled stuck. Huge downer as I really like them. These gloves would be bullet proof for snowmobiling/ice fishing if the finger tips and palms were reinforced with something more durable.
