        I have had great luck with this rod/reel combo. It is very sensitive and you can feel even very light bites. The orange tip is easy to see in low light conditions. The reel is very average nothing real special about it but it fairly smooth. You are definitely going to want to put your own line on though as its just a cheap mono that comes with the combo and at least mine as a lot of memory resulting in the occasional tangle. Overall great buy for the money.

              I bought this combo last saturday (december 17th) morning at the woodbury gander mountain. i spent all day fishing in western wisconsin and i caught over a dozen panfish and a couple of perch. i put a spring bobber on the tip and you could really feel the fish that were biting light. i would recommend this combo to the anyone who is just getting started in ice fishing. you can't go wrong with the price either.
