Comments about Fobus Paddle Holster, GL26:
I have another Fobus holster for my 1911, and wanted one for my Glock 27. The Fobus holster is a great OWB holster that doesn't require a belt. It's a great holster for quickly putting it on or taking it off.
The only reason I gave this particular holster a 4 is the retention was very tight. It was so tight that you couldn't draw the gun without the holster attached. I was able to fix the problem by wrapping a thin silicone gun cloth around the pistol and pushed the pistol in as far as it would go. Then, I used a hair dryer on low heat. This expanded the holster enough that it now works as it should. I don't have any more problems drawing the pistol.

Comments about Fobus Paddle Holster, GL26:
I occasionally open carry when I am in Arizona. It's nice to grab it and just snap it on your belt. However it takes a practiced, rapid, snatching draw to get it out of the holster cleanly and rapidly. This is a dealbreaker for many. The retention is so secure as to be overkill. Also not the best choice for a concealed carry holster. The gun butt cants outward too far. You will print. Best use: Law enforcement supervisory/detective/coroner where you will be unlikely to have to quick-drawn and true concealment is not an issue.
Well made albeit kind of industrial-looking. Indestructible. Also fit my First Gen G19 very well- if you don't mind it sticking out beyond the end of the holster 3/4"

Comments about Fobus Paddle Holster, GL26:
The gun snaps firmly into the holster when fully seated and but then the holster will not give it back! The directions state that the draw must be practiced enough times to perfect a very specific draw. The draw must be performed at just the right angle with a sharp snatching motion otherwise your gun is staying in the holster. This is totally unacceptable! Retention is a great feature of any holster but Fobus takes it to a ridiculous level. There is no adjustments to the retention at all. Sending it back!
