                  • General Calling

Comments about Flextone Mimic HD Electronic Call:

On my first time out I stopped a coyote dead in its tracks over 1/2 mile away. Others jumped in and started calling. I do not use this call to hunt, I use it to photograph animals in the wild. I also called in a Great Gray Owl with the mouse call (volume turned way down). Volume seems more than adequate and does not get garbled at full volume. Overall I would say this is a great value for general purpose use.

How long do batteries last and what kind? Also, what kind of calls? Are they clear ?
Asked on 2/8/2011 by Anonymous from Grant County Wi

                    1 answer

                    • A:

Since this product uses AA batteries (not included), their lifespand depends on how much the product is used. The product creates short audio tones with the pull of a trigger. The batteries need to power an LCD screen, buttons, and the audio emmitter. Each change of batteries will give approximately 2-4 hours of use and emit over 1000 calls.
